One day a lady saw a mouse running across her kitchen floor.

3.Why did she run out of the house.
She bought a mouse-trap.

She go a shop.

Got in a bus.

     6. What did she do when she got there?
There she bought a mouse trap.

The shopkeeper.

     8. What did he say to her?
Put some cheese in it, and you will soon catch that mouse.

    9. What did the lady do then?
The ladywent home with her mouse-trap.

   10. Where did she look?
When she looked in her cupboard.

   11. What was she looking for?
She looked in her cupboard.

  12. Did she find it?
She could not find any cheese in it.

  13. Why didn’t she go back to the shops?
Because it was very late.

  14. What did she do then?
She cut a picture of the cheese out of a magazine and put that in the trap.

  15. What happened the next morning?

There was a picture of a mouse in the trap beside the picture of the cheese.
