Should a city preserve its historic buildings?

I think that all big and small cities should have their historical buildings. They make the city more beautiful. All such buildings have an old history, about which we should not only hear, but also see. Tourists are more interested in such buildings and it can be beneficial for the budget of the country. Besides, the old buildings are very beautiful. We just have to take care of them, clean and paint them․ There are cities with their old buildings in  India, Egypt, Greece, China, Germany and many other countries
